Basin Street Properties Completes Major Capital Improvement Project and Adds Two New Tenants at 200 South Virginia in Reno
RENO, Nevada, – June 8, 2007 – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern California and Northern Nevada developer of commercial and mixed-use properties completed a major capital improvement project at its 200 South Virginia building, which included the installation of new HVAC and electrical systems, upgrades to the parking lot, and several interior improvements to corridors and vacant suites. Additionally, Sierra Vista Mortgage and ACI, Inc. joined Basin Street’s roster of marquee tenants, including Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley, at the 120,000 sq. ft. office complex located in the core of Reno's burgeoning financial district.
"One of our first goals upon acquisition of the building last year was to initiate a major capital improvement project to enhance its offerings for current and future tenants. By completely overhauling the antiquated HVAC and electrical systems, we have created a working environment that addresses the needs of our tenants and their employees," said Scott Stranzl, vice president of leasing at Basin Street Properties. Sierra Vista Mortgage and ACI both signed five-year lease deals, which commenced on June 1. In addition to Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley, 200 South Virginia hosts a number of diverse telecom companies, including Quest Communications, Eshelon Telecommunications, Liberty Telecom and Level 3 Communications, among others.
200 South Virginia is located in Reno's downtown office core. The building occupies a premier location and accommodates a variety of tenants and industries, including financial services, telecommunications, health services and law firms.
