Basin Street Properties Welcomes Four New Tenants to Petaluma’s Theatre District

Steven J. Lafranchi & Associates, A Likely Story, Subway and Planet Beach to Occupy 10,100 Sq. Ft. at Basin Street’s Theatre Square

PETALUMA, Calif., June 22, 2009 – Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern California and Northern Nevada real estate investor of commercial and mixed-use properties, signed four new tenants to Petaluma’s Theatre Square. Steven J. Lafranchi & Associates signed a three-year lease agreement and A Likely Story, Planet Beach Contempo Spa and Subway Sandwiches signed seven-year lease agreements occupying a combined total of 10,100 sq. ft.

Steven J. Lafranchi & Associates, a civil engineering, land surveying and land planning company, signed to occupy more than 4,200 sq. ft of office space, to commence on September 1, 2009. The new office will be located at 140 Second Street, Suite 312. Basin Street was represented by Sean Heaton and Josh Lindberg of Cushman & Wakefield.

A Likely Story, a children’s book store, will occupy more than 2,100 sq. ft, of retail space, starting on August 1, 2009. The store will be located in Theatre Square at the 151 Petaluma Blvd. South, Suite 107. Basin Street was represented by John Schaefer of Terranomics. A Likely Story was represented by Robert Lipman of Coldwell Banker.

Subway’s lease for approximately1,200 sq.ft. commenced on May 1, 2009. The store is now open in Theatre Square at 151 Petaluma Blvd. South, Suite 109.

Planet Beach Contempo Spa is a salon that provides automated spa treatments, non-UV and UV tanning and related services. Located at 151 Petaluma Blvd. South, Suite 109., Planet Beach has occupied more than 2,500 sq. ft. since February 10, 2009. Theatre Square is located immediately across from the Boulevard Cinemas in the heart of the Theatre District. The first floors consist of commercial space, while a portion of the second and third floors consist of 24,000 sq. ft. of office space and 56 apartments ranging in size from one to three bedrooms.
