Basin Street Hospitality Names Scott Satterfield General Manager of
Sonoma Wine Country’s Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel
WINDSOR, CALIF., April 20, 2009 – Basin Street Hospitality, a division of Basin Street Properties, a prominent Northern California and Northern Nevada real estate investor of commercial and mixed-use properties, appointed Scott Satterfield general manager for the Hampton Inn & Suites in Windsor, Calif. Nestled in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country, the 116-room hotel is part of the Hilton family of hotels, which recently opened in November 2008..
“With more than 23 years in the hospitality industry, Scott brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in hotel management,” said Tom Birdsall, managing partner of Basin Street Hospitality. “Coupled with his intimate familiarity with the region, Scott will be able to oversee one of our premier property's day-to-day operations with the highest standard of care, enabling this hotel to continue to excel, despite the current economic conditions.”
Satterfield was previously the general manager for Tarsadia Hotels’ Sacramento Campus, managing three Marriott hotels with more than 340 rooms, including the Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites. Prior to that, he served as the general manager for the Residence Inn Sacramento Airport in Natomas, Calif. There he managed a 126-room long-term stay hotel through two ownership changes and a renovation.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Windsor-Sonoma Wine Country is Basin Street Hospitality’s first new-build hotel.
