The state agency has been a tenant at Basin Street’s high profile Capitol Oaks building since September 2008 and will occupy the space in May 2009.

“We are pleased to accommodate the California Department of General Services/Real Estate Office of Integrated Services’ ongoing real estate needs,” said Scott Stranzl, vice president of leasing for Basin Street Properties. “The Capitol Oaks building has been an ideal location for the Department of General Services with its close proximity to the state capitol and associated constituents. With our continued focus on building improvements and our commitment to meeting tenant needs, we look forward to exceeding the agency’s expectations for years to come.”

Capitol Oaks is adjacent to Highway 5 in the South Natomas sub-market, and is conveniently located near such community amenities as the Natomas Racquetball Club, walking trails, and the riverwalk. The building features an on-site health facility and basketball courts, and capital improvements include HVAC, lobby, corridor and signage upgrades.
