Basin Street Unveils First Phase of the Theatre District Waterfront Apartments
PETALUMA, Calif., – Dec. 18, 2006 – Basin Street Properties, the leading developer of commercial and mixed-use properties in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties, announced today the opening of the first phase of the Waterfront Apartments in Petaluma’s thriving Theatre District. Development began on the 90-unit, four building complex in April 2005 and Building A – the largest of all four and comprised of 37 units – is open for occupancy. Diverse living options include studios, one and two bedroom apartments, and live-work spaces. Building A is located at 265 First Street and is in close proximity to the retail block and cinema.

The Waterfront Apartments are the second residential complex in the Theatre District. The Lofts at Basin Street Landing was the first, which was developed in 2004.
Building A of the Waterfront Apartments is open for tours 7 days a week: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
The Waterfront Apartments, upon completion, will house 90 units consisting of five studios, 28 one bedroom, 53 two bedroom (13 of them townhomes) and four live-work spaces. Residents will enjoy such amenities as all major appliances including, washer and dryer, granite counter tops, and balconies or patios. Located in Petaluma’s Theatre District, the complex is adjacent to the Petaluma River and is in close proximity to Highway 101.
