The Lakes Corporate Center Lures Two Substantial Tenants
County of Sonoma Job Link and Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Human Resource Department Choose Basin Street’s Santa Rosa Property
PETALUMA, Calif. – February 17, 2005 - Basin Street Properties, the leading developer of commercial and mixed-use properties in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties, has signed five-year lease deals with both The County of Sonoma Job Link and the human resource department for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital (SRMH) at The Lakes at Santa Rosa Corporate Center. The County of Sonoma and SRMH will occupy 5,461 sq. ft. and 6,056 sq. ft. of office space, respectively. Both leases are scheduled to commence March 1.
“Basin Street has worked with both the County of Sonoma and the St. Joseph Health System (of which SRMH is a part) on other leases and properties,” said Scott Stranzl, vice president of leasing. “There’s no higher compliment to our work and the quality of our properties than having tenants stay with us long-term and integrate additional departments within their organizations.”
Relocation of the SRMH human resource department follows the move of other administrative departments to The Lakes complex in the summer of 2004. The Lakes Corporate Center now houses the hospital’s transcription, contracting, decision support, compliance, community benefits, marketing and foundation departments. The County of Sonoma currently has five departments at The Lakes: information systems, sheriff’s department, human services, special investigation services and mental health services. Basin Street’s Oak Valley Business Park, also in Santa Rosa, is home to three departments: prevention and planning, environmental health and emergency medical services.
Shawn Johnson of Keegan & Coppin Co., Inc. represented Basin Street in its transaction with SRMH. Joel Jaman, also of Keegan & Coppin Co., Inc., represented the hospital. In the County of Sonoma transaction, neither party had broker representation.
