Management Team

Matthew T. White  |  President & CEO

Matt spearheads the acquisition, development, design and finance of Basin Street’s diverse real estate portfolio. Under Matt’s leadership, Basin Street has grown to encompass major development projects and financing deals throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada. Additionally, Matt manages the Basin Street Properties Investor Program, performing assessment and analysis for acquisitions and development projects, as well as providing strategic real estate advice and support to investors. Since joining Basin Street in 1994, he has directed the acquisition, financing and development of a broad range of office, industrial and retail properties throughout Basin Street’s core geographic markets. Matt holds a BA from Boston University.

Scott W. Stranzl  |  Vice President

As vice president, Scott leads the leasing and marketing division of Basin Street. In this capacity, he provides strategic analysis for lease transactions and oversees in-house and third-party commercial real estate brokers throughout the company’s Northern California and Northern Nevada portfolio. With more than 10 years in the commercial real estate industry, Scott has been successful in closing deals in excess of four million square feet. Scott holds a BA from San Diego State University and is a graduate of Leadership Napa.

Stephanie Burlingame  |  Vice President - Operations

Stephanie joined Basin Street Properties in March of 2003, bringing with her more than 16 years’ experience in commercial real estate management. As director of the company’s Property Management division, she oversees the management of properties, which collectively total more than two million square feet. The range of properties under her stewardship includes mixed-use office, retail, residential and industrial projects in Northern California and Nevada. Stephanie holds a BA in English from University of Notre Dame.

Matthew D. Sherrill   |  Vice President - Construction

Matt has recently joined the company after serving as consultant since October 2003 and is responsible for all construction operations. He has over 28 years in real estate development and construction and most recently was a partner in CMA, Inc., a San Francisco based development management and real estate consulting firm he helped establish in 1993. He previously held positions as construction manager with development and construction firms in the Bay Area. He is a graduate of Sacramento State and holds a B.S. in Construction Management.

Jonathan T. Lefferts  |  Chief Financial Officer

Jon is responsible for all financial aspects of the company including debt and equity financing of the company’s acquisition and development projects, accounting and financial reporting. Prior to joining Basin Street, Jon was Vice President of the Wells Fargo Real Estate Merchant Banking Group. Jon holds a BA degree from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Paul A. Andronico  |  General Counsel

Paul became General Counsel for Basin Street Properties in February 2003, and is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company and land entitlements. For the past eight years, Paul practiced real estate law with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leasing, landlord-tenant and s ecured finance. Paul holds a BA degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
